Slack and the Monday email

Get stalls, sends and came-backs in Slack, and a summary every Monday.

Slack

Post your moments to a Slack channel as they happen.

  1. In Slack, create an incoming webhook for the channel (it looks like https://hooks.slack.com/services/...).
  2. In PennyPost, open Settings, then Slack, and paste it.
  3. Choose what to post: Each moment email (held-back people too, marked as such) and Each person who came back (opened your results page within 3 days).

PennyPost posts at most once a minute and groups what happened since the last post, up to 20 lines. Lines name the person, so pick a channel only your team can see.

The Monday email

Every Monday from 09:00 in your time zone, PennyPost emails you last week's numbers: how many signed up, the moment where most of them got stuck, and how many came back after an email once one is live. The subject reads like "Your app last week: 42 signups, 6 came back". It has one button: turn on the email for the biggest moment, or open the report.

Turn it off under Account, Monday email. A Monday PennyPost misses (say, during an outage) is skipped, not sent late.
